UCCL clubs to use new FAW COMET management system

01/08/21

The 2021/22 season will see the first time that all clubs across the FAW football pyramid will use the COMET system to record all aspects of squad and match day management.

The COMET system is used by more football governing bodies than any other comparable system being used at national and continental level by over 43 associations.

The Mobile Apps for Android and iOS devices allow users to easily enter line-ups and match events live on the match day using their smartphones with all standard match day operations fully executed pitch side using mobile apps and without the need for a laptop. It can also be used in offline mode, without internet access. Once the device is again connected to the internet, the changes are synchronised with the server. Mobiles are notified of any relevant changes onto the home screen of their smartphone using push notifications e.g. when a referee is appointed to a match, they will immediately receive a push notification to their smartphone (in addition to an e-mail notification).

Full details of the COMET system including FAQs can be found on the FAWs COMET support website here. A user guide in PDF can be downloaded from the UCCL website here.
